Rebuy Fees?

Hi everyone,

This is my first post so please be gentle.

I played a rebuy tournament this afternoon which had a stake of £1.10 (£1.00 Buy in + 10p fee). I had to rebuy a couple of times and I found it a little strange that I was charged another 10p fee for every rebuy.

I have played Live rebuy events in casino's and the only time you pay any fee is on tournamnt entry, and also on other online sites who only charge the original buy-in per rebuy (in this case £1) and in all cases all the money is added to the prize pool. In my case Sky did not put the full £1.10 from the rebuy into the prize pot.

I know in this case that it is only 10p but in the higher stake rebuys this could constitute a fair bit extra to the prize fund.

Please don't get me wrong, I think this is a great site but somehow this just doesn't seem right what is happening with these games.

Welcome to the forum

Sky is the only site i know of that charge's a rake on rebuy's so myself and others have refused to play them until it is stopped.

There are other thread's on this topic, your not alone in thinking its wrong.
