Rounders. Not a bad film in it's own right and some good words of wisdom about poker in there.

    Three of the best...

The Cincinnati Kid  (Norman Jewison, 1965)

A Big Hand for the Little Lady  (Fielder Cook, 1966)

    California Split  (Robert Altman, 1974)

I still maintain that the poker scene from The Sting is one of the funniest and best ones (although you'll be hard pushed to find any decent strategy there, with the possible exception of how to tilt your opponent).

Cincinnati Kid is very good with two drawbacks.  1)  They announce no string betting and then every single bet seems to be a sting bet; 2)  The final hand.  Not as bad as the final hand in Maverick or Casino Royale but still pretty bad IMO).

A God-awful!  Avoid at all costs!

I can't believe Doyle Brunson allowed his name to appear in the end credits as "poker consultant".  The ending, which MICKYBLUE alludes to, implies that collusion is an acceptable aspect of the game!!!
