Flush odds

I think im correct when saying the odds of hitting the flush on the flop is 118/1 ish,but what are the odds of 3 of the same suit coming on the flop,is it the same? ty in advance for any replies,dav

    The odds of flopping a flush is 118/1 (approximately).
    This is the odds of 3 of 11 cards from 50 being flopped, i.e. we know (only) two cards pre-flop and they are both of the same suit as those on the flop.

    The odds would change depending on how many cards of that suit (and other suits) are known pre-flop.

      working on a 6 seater table.

      The odds of the first card are 100%  the second card are 12 out of 39 and the third is 11 out of 38

      Which works out to 132 in 1192 which is about 8 to 1.(though this does not take into account any of the suit being held by players)
