I folded a FH stupid or what?

Live cash game 8 handed £1/50p, villian good player but likes to defend his blinds and hard to read but been caught out with a few small bluffs during the game.

I hit a FH on the flop, know this guy may have a stab at the pot so decide to slow play his play on the river threw me..... I did fold your comments please.

All fold to me on button

    one second my eyes are bleeding from the way you butched that hand brb.

    ok now im fine again, why did you not bet the flop?

    BET BET BET line is best here, your hand is a monster, your not getting there stack by checking the flop, your getting called by any pair, and alot of gutters. its a great board for them c-r you as well, because you dont hit it often.

    Playing nl30-50 on sky is much safer.

    Did you intentionally fold here or accidentally mucked your cards?

    If so cant see why you would be folding in any spot, also slow playing not a fan of but you do have a strong hand 3rd nuts so you can probably afford for them to catch up so you get their stack as they pushed on you this is what you wanted and you fold??? WHY??? where do you play i wanna win some money :P

    I put the villian on a Q with maybe a k/j/10 kicker or even worse suited, any other card but the 6 on the river would have called in a flash. I am confident I folded the worse hand.

    I am unhappy with my play if I call a shove with the worse hand, if I am ahead and he catches up so be it he got lucky. My worry is my slow play and from the comments posted it seems I was wrong, with this pot it saved me money but would win this hand 9 out 10 times so need to bet the flop is the feeling here.

    Just a foot note for all the players who say "I need to start playing live"

    No body can see you behind your PC so when you bust out with a bad call you can press stand and disappear into cyber space, live your sill in your seat feeling a donk with 8 or so players grinning at you! You dont have your odds calculator next to you, you give off physical tells for all to see, most important you have use eyes on how confident the other player looks on line is more maths..... not many online players make it to the top on the live curcuit Mr De Wolfe is one of a few.

    As played fold river

    100nl live is like playing 2p/4p on sky.

    Only problem is you get 20 hands a hour where as online you get 500 hands a hour (if you are half decent at multi tabling). Plus you have to waste your time and money travelling to casino and you have to get dressed too.

    This is the worst bit imo. People suck live. It's comical.

    This isn't a stupid fold by any means, you have to really once you bet the river. You just had a bit of a mare that it looks like he managed to get there and you managed to not win anything with flopped FH vs trips on the frop.
