Betting frequency

edited August 2010 in The Poker Clinic
This is more for tournament play, but something I was wondering about.

Let's say, for example, you get 5 or 6 real premium hands (AA/KK/AK/QQ) in a 10 hand space, and raise every one of them- seeing no caller. Your image is now looking quite aggressive, and probably quite loose. Now say you get a hand you'd normally raise with, but not premium- like 55-88, JQ/JK/J10/KQ etc. Do you raise them the same as you normally would, limp, or fold? I feel like as soon as you're seen raising frequently, people are watching you closer- waiting for the chance to reraise. With a real premium hand, obviously that's desirable- but with weaker hands that realistically need to hit, does the increased chance of being reraised slow you down a little?
