Sky Poker Forums is upgrading its look! Stay tuned for the big reveal!
Searching for a picture for another daft post in Area 51 I stumbled upon some stuff that reminded me of the old toys I used to love as a kid growing up in the 70's / 80's. (20th century)
A few of the things I loved back then...
Space 1999 .. I had loads of these with the detachable payload. These days the spaceships look a bit.... 'odd'

Star Wars figures! Collected loads of these, including Darth Vader with his slide-out electric sword thing (Miyagi - that's his weapon before you say anything! Hang on, that's just as bad)

And LEGO! Remember getting this car thing for Christmas one year - it was AMAZING. Suspension, steering, huge rubber tyres - everyfink!

evel knievel.
Evel Knievel toys were ultra-cool. I can remember having the Dragster. Worked exactly the same, you had to line up the cogs and turn the handle on the red thing at 100mph, before it flew off and ended up going about 40 degrees off course and through a gap in someones hedge.
Happy Days!!
didn't have much toys but this was my favourate.

My teacher said I was a natural.
Until all your players got stood on or sat on!!
If this happened, we would keep the pitch set up on the table and play blow-football instead.
I can always remember one of my mates having asthma, we used to let him use his dads hand-pump as his Goalkeeper/Ball-Blower.
I have worked out what the blue thing is Miyagi, the wife got me one for Christmas.
Kept getting my fist stuck inside looking for the instructions and wasn't sure what to do with it after that, so I made it into a toy for my hamster "Biscuit"
