In this structure I don't fold big flops hand in a million years, actually maybe make that any structure! The all in shove on the river looks like a try to win the pot which looked like a split
Since you're all taking about hotties from Neighbours that Mrs. Mangel was bit of a looker. Tikay would. Posted by Machka
Nah. "Plain Jane Super-Brain" Mangel was a STUNNER.
My missus has gone to bed too, so it is safe for me to say that many a portion of Electric Spaghetti was thrown around when I used to watch Neighbours.
Why is frankenstien and giddens sitting down, even Tikay can do a 4 hour show standing up! This is ridculous, they work like 8 hours aweek and can't even stand up Posted by MadHorse
Was just wondering wat you guys think of this.Usually work nights so cant play so often, ive managed to play 3 of the large bounty hunters on a thursday evening.Won the first one(£1850),second one collected £46 in bountys, and last night came 6th collecting £327.Also qualified for £220 DS due to winnin first one ,finished 4th collecting another £800 .So for a few hours work ive made a couple of months wages.Wish i had the balls to quit work and play poker all day as i genuinely think i could make some serious money.Any1 ever feel the same?

Yes true, play mostly live poker which i prefer and had some great results there too. Stick to playin these tourneys while im winning i suppose.
That last is so true- playing in the 1200 guarantee BH yesterday I felt totally in the zone, playing at the top of my game- made almost completely correct reads, induced bets when I wanted them and got the folds when I was weak. Created a decent table image so that any raises were respected, and held up in the few races I was involved in.
Ended up finishing 9th after shoving with AK and being called by 8's, and didn't hit. With 5 heads and 9th place I made around £38 from an £11 buyin, and over 2 hours work, and I firmly believe I couldn't have played much better in that tourney, and had the luck. Difference between 9th and 1st was to the tune of close to £400 I would guess, taking heads into account. Having bust out of the 8k BH after an hour, without taking any heads, I was basically back to square 1 after 3/4 hours of playing poker- again, I played decent in there and just ran out of room to make moves, and lost the final race.
I love tournament poker, can't stand cash, but I don't think it's reliable enough to make a living from unless you manage to win the WSOP main event. In which case play tournaments all you want.
To be honest i wouldnt really give up my job to play poker ,just wish i had more time to dedicate to it.With a bit of guided direction think i could become a really good player.Yes do play cash but again mostly live and not for substantial amounts,£50 tops usually.

If you are lucky (and good) you might win one in every 30 or so tournaments. You might cash on a regular basis but you will need that to finance entry fees. You will have bad runs of weeks and months at a time. Earning a living at tournament play just isn't viable. You need either a solid stt or cash game as well or other income. Tournament play is too unpredictable to be a regular source of income, it's best played for pleasure.
