Quite easily - look at his chip stack.

He flops the gutshot with two overcards, then he picks up the Ace-high flush draw on the turn.

This hand is pretty standard.

Edit - I'm not saying he played it right or wrong, just that the majority of players are going to call you down here all day every day - because this is how the majority of players play.

Sorry extremely frustrated when i seen the cards, i had no fold equity on the river with the 3rd to nuts and half my stack in already.

Going to have a bath and chill out remember the good times and return to the tables

Curries no worries, I know the feeling well.

Yeah, I guess you could have checked the river then thrown up and folded to his shove but realistically you can't do that.

Checking the turn would have been fine imo. (Or raise more pre, then bet more flop).
