OK preflop i see AK, ive only played 2 hands in 6 circules up to this point, that was JJ and AJ. Only the AJ was seen at showdown as i lost to 55 after checked down.

So i raise, 2 callers, which i didnt expect, and think maybe a c-bet would be a good way to end the hand on the flop and take the £2 profit. One caller.

I hit my King on the turn, which was good, i had the guy on a flush draw so thought a 3/4 pot bet would be good again, unfortunetly that was £6 and that would mean if he called an a heart came down and he was on a flush draw id be commited to call. So as a result i felt shoving the rest of that £1.60 was the best option and if he called on the draw and hit it, then fair play but at least my money was in good.

Opinions please.

Played fine, unsure whether you could have checked turn and if other person would have bet, may have got more that way but no gurantee oppo betting so dont mind the shove here

personally i would try to check turn and hope they bet then can call or shove
