I know chat can be fun sometimes but some of the talk especially in your direction was shameful especially when the word "r etard" was mentioned. I applaud you on your actions in telling them of your feelings, even though they carried on.

Was glad to be moved of the table, especially that I won

Yeah +1 tikay always seems to get alot of stick which some of it is banter but the other half is just uncalled for

We as players can stop this though by sticking up for him, have done in the past sad though we have to when people play on this site should be more respectful to him. we have a good community so why should at the tables be any different

Hi Guys,

I just want to clear up any misunderstanding here.

Like ALL the Presenters/PTP-ers, yes, I get a goodly amount of mock abuse, & it's a joke that can wear a little thin after a few years of it, but it is NOT a problem to me, or any of us. We are sitting targets, we cannot respond in kind (because we don't do rude) & it goes with the territory. It's fine.

So the stuff I was getting from one particular player on Friday was "unfortunate", but nothing out of the ordinary, & I'm not fussed about it. He sat & took "pops" at me non-stop for 3 hours non-stop, but if it floats his little boat, so be it.

But I had to draw the line when after larging it up all night, he ran a bluff, got called by a good player, who he then went on to describe, repeatedly, as a "retard".

For this, I confronted him in the Chat-Box immediately, politely but strongly. As the OP knows, this had no effect, he laughed it off.

If people share a Table with me, & start calling my fellow players "retards", they WILL be reported to Customer-Care by me, I absolutely promise, & I don't care if that upsets people.

It's wrong wrong wrong to say such things, & I will not stand by & say & do nothing. "retard" might seem like a "street-wise & kool" word to a very small minority of players, but it's deeply offensive & will not be tolerated here at Sky Poker.
 
Many people start threads about abuse in the chat boxes. My advice is always the same, & very simple. Report them.
