hi dazler ive read your post in many threads and i can tell you aer a sensible guy,so when you stop steaming you will realise that this mad,infuriating,addictive game can and will throw every combination of beats to try and break you!
i had a run about a year ago where i was convinced someone had hacked into my computer and could see my cards(absoloutly stupid i know)but every raise i made seemed to be called by trash and hit or aa,kk etc always got beat.
i took a month off and got the bug again,now i try to take the beats and move on(very hard sometime)

also playing the velocity to "see what happens is not the best way to improve your luck,its the worst type of comp to try and play decent poker(i should know ive won it loads,lol)

Dazler unfortunatly i have to say that i am with you here a little. i have been playing poker now for 6 years or so both live and online...and have never ever seen so many questionable hands, i see quads almost every half hour, on every table, ive seen 3 royal flushs this week!!!! were as 1 the rest of my life lol. which is all fine because is all gets spred around and everone gets somegood hands, but i have to say it infuriates me when i hit a set turn a full house and then some guy rivers quads after all the money is in the middle, he started the hand with 3rd pair on the board and ended up with perfect runner runner. i belive that ths happens way to often.
 ive had to completely adjust my game to playing on sky poker, ive had to slow down drastically, i will almost never put my money in preflop, i will alwways try to see the flop. and try if possible to manage the pot size as best as i can. this way i can take the horrid outdraws better and try to play small bal poker win lots of small pots but win or lose few big ones. this wors in cash games but not in tournys.
  anyhow i just hope ure luck gets better soon, and mine

I have noticed as of late there seems to be a theme of bad beats and bad players winning and more and more people saying the same thing. Cold runs and just amazingly shocking cards coming down. I would like to stay positive and think this is just a run of bad luck but im starting to think there is more to it!! For the last week but mainly last couple of days and definately today the cards coming down have been absolutely ridiculous. For example: I was just knocked out of the open after holding pocket Ks and hitting another K on the flop to make my set. only an A on the board which is no worry uless they are holding pocket As or AK. Player raises i re-raise they call. then turn comes a 6 i think. 2 hearts on the board so i decide to push for all my chips and I get called with A10 hearts just have to dodge the heart. GUESS WHAT.......... HEART I LOSE. Now i dont blame the player as he had outs and hit his top pair and thought he was ahead. Hey thats poker I hear you say!! this is just one story in a slaughter of beats today game after game after game after game. ive had full houses beat, st8s on the flop beat, sets and trips beat, AA beat by J 10s, KK beat by 95, QQ beat by J5 the hands ive stated are all hands ive held that have been beat today not mentioning others of the same calibur, Premium hands being beat by suck outs when im betting ahead and NOT SLOW PLAYING. Its got so bad i have had to reload my bank roll too many times and now im scared to even play a game. The Luck eliment in this game seems to outweigh the skill eliment id have more chance of being struck by lightning than winning with the best hand it seems. Im sure there will be comments about how i might be playing the hands wrong or stop moaning we all get bad beats. Well if you are thinking that you cant be getting it as bad as me. I have to air my thoughts on this because i would like to know why its this bad and if it continues im very close to Leaving Sky as a poker site and i dont want to do that because of its great community and contributions. I ask sky to see why this is happening and im sure you will lose customers if it continues and to check out the sofware that deals these hands. Check out my exit hands sky and see if you think its natural and i bet you see the story im telling. I wish all good luck and dont want to come across as a moaner but when something feels wrong im gonna talk about it. Im going to have a go in the velocity and ill let you know what happens there im pretty sure its going to happen there LETS SEE

Great post Dazler, my story is the same, apart from when its so bad of a beat, i fear the hand has been dealt by
Skypoker, and was won by Skypoker
I wonder if your luck will change seeing although u have left them with a leg to stand on? a get-out option?
I think they read this and decide things.....no luck or many winning hands here when ive been 75% or higher.
I think someone comes round and zero's balances in an unfortunate unlucky spell whichever game u pick on
the site.  They dont like me, i will enjoy losing them more money than they cheat off me
I hope they like me, and i dont mind at all if they dont.

thanks for the support guys and i will take a few days off and come back with the little amount of cash i have left. But not gonna hold my breath its been like this for a month pretty much. Always had a steady amount of wins before but cant figure it out apart from it being skys fault. ill give it one last push at the end in a couple of days and let you know how i get on. Again thanks for the support thats what i like about this forum your all fab and the reason i have stayed. GL

Not just because im fond of you as a fellow player, i am in full agreement with everything you have said c`os ditto, the same has happened to me in the same time scale period as you. Your script could be mine hunni and i too got frustrated. However, i have now regained my patience amongst what appears to be no hope no matter what i do. I too will see how it goes.

Hi hunni i agree with all you have said and it does seem like you have to adjust your game. But its been rather tricky to adjust hunni as i am a tight player. never bluff and always have a good hand when i play a hand. So i fully understand and sympathize with Dazler as he is used to playing probably a similar way to me, which you would expect to play in live poker.

i would like to make a comment on scotties use of sharkscope to abuse you daz--this is completely OUT OF ORDER--also scotty--if you had taken the time to look at dazlers performance on scheduled tournaments you would see that dazler has a very respectable roi and is in fact doing quite well indeed--use of sharkscope to abuse players should be banned in our community--as it is by sharkscope itself--well done daz--and i think if  you study where you make most profit and concentrate there, your graph will soon be pushing up the top of the page again--good luck m8--and shame on you SCOTTY

Mate I think u are just seriously p!ssed off that you had bad beat after bad beat... nothing more to it other than that! I'd probably feel the same to be honest. Just remember... this ain't some 2bit site running on a Russian server... this is SKY poker! Lol, one of the biggest brands in the UK/World. If they were rigging games they would be caught out immediately... and to be frank, I think their obscene revenues means they wouldn't need to even if they could!
Take it eazy buddy... Keep cool and play again in a couple of days,...
