Just attempted a MTT in the style of ljamesl from the double stack show the other night.
It nearly worked. I raised and re-raised from the start like a maniac and folded when need be but was gathering loads of chips.
If my AK hadn't been beaten by AQ all-in pre I was about to go absolutely mental.
I'm taking a whole new approach to MTTs now.
And it's SOOOO much more fun.

6000+ chips before the third level. lol, lol, lol. Most won by a third bullet with the square root of absolutely nothing because I couldn't see how he could possibly be beating my represented set, lol lol, lol.
And after a few bampot moves you get SOOOOO much respect. My BB was basically mine plus the SB the rest of the way through.
ljamesl, you're now my poker hero. I learnt so much from you last Thursday night.
Poker is now an entirely new game to me. I've read Harrington which teaches you how to raed the game like no other books written. I read Hansen's which was a revelation. But I had to see ljamesl in action before I could confidently take it to the next level.
Now I just need to do it sober too.
