Bluff: A type of deception meant to mislead
Of course as poker enthusiasts bluffing is all part of the fun and if that makes us a bunch of filthy rotten liars at least we can now blame our parents: Following the news that the average child is told at least a hundred lies by their parents per year I thought we'd talk fibs tonight! Bluffing on the poker table and off, best fibs, worst fibs, really got you into trouble fibs, the lies your parents told you as a child....
For instance: my good friend Nick spent the best part of his childhood believing that when the icecream van played music it meant they'd run out of icecream.
Cruel and brilliant at the same time.

I started a thread in The Shed called "The Outrageous Lie Thread" where you had to write an outrageous lie about the previous person to have posted.

Quick question for Trevor. (not a cash one though)
Do you think the 1st hour of any big MTT is just a gamblers paradise where calls are very wide and position, raises, bet sizes etc serves very little or no purpose. I have often heard this hour refered to as 'survival hour' and I can see why just recently.
