I reckon its good play in this instance as you won the pot!! you were in position, you showed reasonable aggression, what did you put your opponent on? without knowing the history its only guesswork, but maybe AK, flushdraw? The Q on the end makes it less likely he had the Q, if he did, why would he not have re-raised earlier? You had to put a good bet on the end, which you did, if you had checked, he woulda pushed (again speculation) As for bad play in the longrun? well id always like to put the chips in 1st so no i dont think it is bad play in the long run, unless players know you bet a lot with no hand like i do now lol, but that doesnt mean your gonna win these run offs all the time lol. Then again im no expert lol!

bet bigger on flop, turn sizing is fine, river card is really terrible for you to be bluffing on vs a half decent opponent, and theres no reason to be so big on river

I like it aslong as u put him on flush draw before turn if not then its guess work and hoping for a fold! The way he was calling ur bets made me think flush draw so no need to bet so big on river because u knew he didnt have queen from the turn and it wasnt the 3rd heart. As long as you had this in mind when playing this hand and you always do it in posistion it is a good play in long run which can work wonders in tournaments. However if that last card was a heart would you of still put out a bet? And would you of been able to fold if he bet your river check or re raised at the end?

if a heart had come then i would of gave up on the hand because i put him on the flush draw but when the other Q came on the river i knew it was unlikely he had a Q because he would of surely raised on the flop or turn so when that 2nd Q came down with no heart i thought a big bet even if he had the 7 or the 9 surely he can't call a pot bet with the way i played the hand because the way i played it shouted i had a Q or that's what i thought anyway.

Thanks for the feedback guys much appreciated
