When people talk about nl10 or nl20 does the 10/20 simply refer to the BB in that particular cash game?

And if so how do you differentiarate between £s and ps?

It means the amount you would have if you bought in for 100 big blinds

so nl30 is 15-30p, nl200 is £1/£2 etc

the blinds are the 'first bet', a raise is the 'second bet' a re raise is the 'third bet' or a '3 bet'

the next re-raise after the 3 bet

NB to 3bet the flop

you must have someone bet, someone raise and then someone re-raise. it is always the third aggressive action on any street. preflop just has the blinds as the first one.
