Many Thanks for all the updates. Much appreciated! : )
For all of you railing this great event, I'm sure DTD could squeeze 300 of us in next year at a push, because it's a great community event, and more of us should experience it. Oh yes before I carry on, a point of order for Sky, the final must have some (or all) of the wonderful women in the team at Nottingham - why not do the live weekend shows from DTD?
Yesterday was great for me, meeting more of the community that helped me and the Vegas guys get as far as we did, once again thanks all.
Spent alot of time on James's Dad's table, listening to his stories, especially the one about Gus Hansen, a great guy. We gave James a family hug for the commentators curse he gave on the Vegas final night to unlucky Swordsyboy.
Had a great run that came to and end around 9.30pm, but Will our son, has kept the family flag flying (Dave, as usual crashed out before the first break - sorry hun) and starts Day 2 with an average chip stack.
Finally a special thank you to the Sky people behind the camaras, the ones that produce the programmes and events which makes this extended family what it is, they have worked tirelessly this weekend.

Hi all, had a good day apart from some players playing as if they are playing online still, i bet 450 preflop 1 guy calls me, the rest fold, flop comes 663, i bet 600, guy calls, 7 on turn, i bet 600, guy calls and rive is low card, Ck Ck, i turn over 10 10 the guy that called me turns over Q6 w.t.f, makes me sick when you see guys play like this in live games,

Hey all, having a blast so far!! Fantastic fun at my first live event, so glad I didn't miss it as I nearly had to
Just pleased to survive through to day 2, met some great people who helped keep me in line, many thanks in particular to SolarCarro and Delta, but the table has been great all along. Looking forward to getting back to the action soon!
Have been following this as best I can on here and f/b messags and it sounds like you are all having a great time!
Good luck to all those left in especially my fellow knight CT and of course one of my oldest and best poker buddies, a certain Mr Phipps (Eyeman) hope you both run real good today guys :-)
Ten minutes until kick off here. It's getting exciting. 27 will be getting a cash reward for their efforts, sadly 17 of those who have come this afternoon will be leaving with nothing but sweet, sweet memories.
