Villain Plays mostly fit or fold on the flop so i deciede to make s stab at the flop and turn a set. I bet for value, which he flats. His range is prob Ax or hands with a bare diamond i dont think he plays 2p or the made flush like this.

I probably go for around £6.50-£7 myself, something tells me he has 2-pair (exclusing the 8) or nut flush

id bet like $8-$8.50  try and make it look like busted nut flush draw and get a bit of a hero call perhaps. i also think you should cbet bigger on this flop
