2 - 10 handed hands, pre flop folds cant get my head around them right or wrong?

Both Fairly early so no reads at all, neither got told what others had or saw just my instincts told me to fold. after that got my way back in only to do terrible call which crippled me in 6th poor effort

why do u 8x the tens and 5x the AQ?

no set amount shanx, first one due to position and 10 handed. 2nd one lost a bit previous so wanted to make cheaper and re-evaluate if raised, if 1 on 1 i could have commited but not with a big raise and call before

i think by 8x'n the tens in early pos you're asking for trouble as you can only get action when ur beat/AK

personally i 3/4x the AQ, and then fold

I really don't think you can 8x it and then fold to a min 3 bet

sorry reason for my fold, whenever someone min bets re-raises a big pre-size bet my gut will always say has aces/kings etc, eveytime i call they do so i thought rather then confirm it iwould rather fold give myself a chance as its only early doors. reason for such a big bet is 10 handed, so shouldn't really stick to same preflop raises do you think?

if this was 6 handied i would never be raising too much but with 10 handed need to be tighter and more aggressive when you have it hence why big bet, didnt think that was the problem i asked a question and got answer so folded

although for all i know they could have had AK or similar, i still wasnt sure about the fold as didnt want to call as would need a low flop or a 10 to be confident so then your in shove territory and i think bit early to be pushing with 10s pre
