Cooler but did I overplay it a bit?

Ok, would like some general advice on this hand. Think I played it alright but then always looking to improve so would like confirmation from some of the better players that this is standard. I always beat myself up when I lose a big pot and try to look for any errors in my play. I'm guessing the general answer might be not to cold call the 3-bet pre. But it's a small 3-bet and the utg raiser is a monster fish so im pretty sure he won't 4-bet. So i'll be in position and have chance for potential stackings.

Villain is solid player who i don't really ever see step out of line.
