Was i right in calling?

This was just after you left Donkey : I always semm to win just afetr you leave - won another £15  less than 5mins after  flopping str8 with J8 against someone chasing flush

% wise - would this be a good call in the long run or was it to lucky?

The player wasn,t to loose ( thats why i thought i may get a fold on the turn) and i knew he had something better than middle pair and also thought my ace was still good

I Would have folded pre, twice.....

And definitely folded the flop, Im not sure what your thinking was here.....

But having played the flop as you did, I like how you got aggressive on the turn, hit the river and get the money in, happy days.

that was my question - i was thinking about bluffing the turn whatever came out, Looking back it looks like a bit weak but it worked out . I suppose i ws playing the player. Wouldn,t have called the flop against donkeyplop 

I did under-estimate his hand tho - i had him on 10 j  or 9-10 or medium pair

you say you put him on 9T or JT.
1) he isnt going to raise preflop OOP with these hands when he can just check.
2) he has top pair and you are trying to make him fold? when you have 15outs (or you think you do) and if he shoves over the top on the turn you are put in a. really bad spot where you have to call it off with ace high vs a range of basically TPGK and all better hands.
