I have been playing sky poker for quite a long time and I have to come to the conclusion that this site is fixed. I know you cannot play poker without getting the odd bad beat, but the number of bad beats I seem to have is ridiculous. I play poker at home on a regular basis and it is not that common to win a hand with a flush. Sky Poker however seems to have flushes on a more consistent basis. This appears even more so in tournament play. I am sure there are hands of this nature to reduce the tournament entries. I also have noticed that occasionally there is a slight delay in the river card being shown. This is similiar to a fruit machine when the jackpot is paid out. The reels are slightly delayed compared to a normal spin. This I have noticed frequently occurs in tournament play. The card always seems to be against the player who is at risk by going all in. This is another way of reducing the field of entries.
I entered a sit and go tournament tonight for five pounds fifty. There were 6 entries and the last 3 in double your money. I could tell from half way through that I be the last person to be eliminated prior to the double up. 3 times players had gone all in and the player at risk, managed ot stay in on the river card. When I eventually got a pair of aces and I was the low stack, I called in the small blind to match the big blind who was also chip leader. He had 6 - 10 unsuited. Sure enough, a 6 came down in the flop. The leader put sufficient chips down to make me go all in and obviously I called. The turn card was fine, so my aces were still in front. Low and behold, the river card came down slightly delayed and it was a 10, to knock me out. As I said earlier, I know you have to put up with bad beats, but this site is taking the mickey. I do not seem to experience this on other sites. Finally for the record, I was watching a hand the other night, where 3 people had been dealt pairs. It was 3's, 5's and 8's. A lot of chios had gone in pre flop, and surprise surprise the flop was 3,5,8. This does not happen when playing in a casino or at home with your mates. What are the odds on this happening. Any comments welcome!!
