Sky Poker forums will be temporarily unavailable from 11pm Wednesday July 25th.
Sky Poker Forums is upgrading its look! Stay tuned for the big reveal!
I realise that you can set your account to inactive for a 24hr period, but would it be possible to allow shorter times too like 12hrs?
i have a horrible habit of playing when i come in after drinking and loosing big, but i dont want to make my account inactive for 24hrs but 12 would be fine.
Any chance?

Thanks for suggestion. I certainly like the logic of your idea. let me pass this thread on to the guys who look after account functionality such as this.

I know there have been some recent changes to the account area (this may include certain aspects of self exclusion) I'll chase one of the guys who works on this and see if i can get him to post an update.
All the best,
Rich
This is a fairly big decision in terms of responsible gasmbling so it has to go through all the relevant avenues (including Alderney Gambling Control.) It may take a bit of time I am afraid but as soon as we have the info we will let you know.
Thanks,
Jordan
It would certainly stop me from playing when drunk if i could just exclude for 12 hrs.
Any news?
Sorry about the delay.
I will have an answer for you tomorrow. Whether it is the one you want remains to be seen...
Cheers,
Jordan
I have had a response from the people in charge of our responsible gambling today. They have taken your comments on board, however it is not something that will be implemented in the near future.
They haven't ruled out the possibility of reducing the cooling off period at some point but it won't be any time soon I am afraid.
Sorry about that.
Thanks for the suggestion anyway,
Jordan
