    erm - hate to put a downer on this chaps, but I'm fairly sure Thanet aint in Maidstone!!

    G casino Thanet sounds like a plan, aint played the new sat tourny yet but the structure looks good. You'll do well to get a seat in the cash game though, normally full with a nice waiting list fri/sat nights.

    I wonder if Tikay has ever graced the G down here with his presence, if we get enough sky peeps up for it, we might even be able to persuade him to add some value ;-)

    There's 5 of us from the lovely Ramsgate that play Sky regular, (3 of which showed our ugly mugs on mastercash a few months back) that also visit the G on what is probably a far 2 frequent basis, that should get the numbers started!

    I am originally from Bexleyheath and went to uni in Canterbury. I'd be more than up for a visit to Thanet for casino/home game poker if it's on a weekend and doesn't clash with work commitments. :)

    yeah cash seems to fill up quick. i got there at 8 and that was plenty early. plus they let u rent table £20 an hour so you can self deal if worst comes to worst. but think they have to dealer dealt tables if staff there. hopefully something get arranged.

    Hi Ploppy, the OP said it could be anywhere in Kent, i suggested the only casino i know in Kent as an obvious choice.(thanet)

    If you know of another other suitable locations, pubs etc, in maidstone or anywhere else, please post your ideas. We can only get agreement on this when everyone has posted their most favoured options/dates etc.

    aha, jus reading through the posts does make me laff... not met any1 from sky poker yet so would be good to get this going... if all posted dates etc would be good... i work shift work but if we all agree on dates ill book some time off work.... if we do it in maidstone i can book ppl in to hilton for 16pound a nite if needed

    2b honest the date doesn't really matter to me, so it's prob best for other people to put dates forward.

    the G in thanet is obv one option, but we have got a snooker club we use for games on a regular basis, and is already equipped with tables, chip sets etc....  beer is cheaper plus there are other advantages in terms of rake etc
