Poker books - some advice needed please

edited October 2010 in Poker Chat
It's that time again when my better half is asking what I would like for Birthday & Christmas so a little help is needed.

2 questions:

1 - Harrington on cash games. Has anyone read them & are they any good? I've read his books on tournament strategy & am really looking to improve my cash game.

2 - Does anyone know of any decent PLO books that are worth reading? I understand the bare basics so I think I could probably do with one for beginners really.

Thanks in advance

Jay

HoC is alright imo but its alot more about live fullring play than 6max online i think there are alot better things to read for online play.

Jeff Hwang's PLO book 'PLO: big play strategy' i found veyr good and it also has information about hi/lo omaha in it aswell, although a little brief.

imo instead of a book you should get a months subscription to deucescracked/cardrunners, download lots of videos  watch them and then conquer all of uNL
