I got beat in omaha today by a straight not a straight flush just a straight to Ace. i had a Ace flush. please someone enlighten me???

I can only think that you used more than two cards from your 4 to make your flush, doesn't make sense otherwise

  for you to have a flush in omaha--

you need two of the same suit in your hand  and three of that same suit on the board--

not one in your hand  and four on the board as can be  the case at holdem--

Hi HotFlush.

It's probable that you misread your hand. Go to "My Account" & find the Hand, & Post it here, then we can see for sure

Thanks guys i used 3 cards in my hand to make the flush i didnt realise you could only use 2. im new to omaha i will be studying the rules now! haha. Cheers for the feedback.

When you are on a table....if you click the options tab (top left I think) then you can click an option where your best hand description is displayed on the table under the board cards.

Hi hotflush.

If it helps. Don't forget that just underneath the cards that have been dealt, it tells you what your best hand is.

I think Richard Orford (The Presenter) uses it all the time to help his game as he is still learning also.
