Well, if the game is to WIN the most, ie, more than the other player.....

If I lose 10 buy ins, and he is £1 up, I have to build a £42 stack to take over him, so unlimited rebuys, and the most profit wins.........(or the least loss......)

Theres lots of way to play cash, playing tight is the most effective way at nl4, as u know....

But if the first hand happens, and  have AA all in pre flop against 7-2, and it comes  7 7 7, 7, 7, Im out, and can't rebuy, but thats what happens at cash......

If u have to,  can restrict it to 2/3/4 buy ins, but the idea is to make the most profit right? not build the biggest stack? so it shouldnt matter?
