you mean u think he has ak aq aj etc?

u shud fold then. but next time u cud try 3 betting more, especially if you think he has a tight range utg.

    how to beat microstakes-

raise 5 x pre with a tight range, then keep potting wen u hit, pot pot pot pot pot

Four options in this spot (KK OOP on an A hi flop).

    - lead the flop
    - check call the flop
    - check raise the flop
    - check fold the flop

    Lead the Flop
Makes the hand easier to play, in that, he folds most hands you are beating, and raises when you are definitely beat. If he calls... ugh.... very opponent dependent. You can do what I do and spend three streets trying to get AQ to fold!
Leading the flop can make it easier, (i.e. it stops QQ / JJ etc... having a stab and putting you in a tricky spot), but is probs not always the most profitable (or least costly) line.
The problem with not betting, is that you are potentially handing the pot to the other guy.
    If in doubt - bet.

    Check call the Flop
An OK line against someone who is going to 100% bet when they are checked to once, but may check back the turn without top pair.
Good players will exploit this line, in that you are effectively repping a very narrow range that can call 3 streets (a set).

    Check Raise the Flop
Against the right opponent (100% bets when checked to, and may even lay down a hand <AK) is ok.
Can be expensive, and is effectively turning your hand into a bluff.
Works better if your image is solid, and your oppo can lay down a hand.

    Check Fold the Flop
Against an ABC opponent, who only bets the flop with top pair or better, would be fine to do this.

Best line is very opponent dependent.
In the spot you are in, if he is very abc / tight, then maybe its a fold.
If not, then call, and see what he does on the turn.

Raise more pre, whatever level it may be. Always lead out on the flop, don't want to show weakness, especially when you have such a strong hand. You've your self to blame if he doesn't have an A, which he might not have! But in the situation you've got yourself in, I would probably fold if the opponent had been tight. You could maybe call and re evaluate on the turn, but that could be costly ..
