i have just joined this table and have little/no reads on any of the players. i am faced with a hefty 4 bet all in pre when i am sitting with QQ. his all in screams A K so i call and i am more than happy when he shows J J.. and lose lol because i can reload should i always be calling this bet pre? or considering folding?

Pre flop QQ is massive in virtually all formats and levels.

If you KNOW he has AK then of course you call. You have to ask yourself "would he make that play with KK or AA?" the answer in 99% of situations is "no" so I call 100% of the time. Over time you make money, the maths dont lie!

i would lay it down when he shoves all in tbh, the shove doesnt shout AK to me at NL50. The villain is obv very loose aggro so with reads you can make the call but without its a fold

I personally think its player dependant here, in this case was correct as it turned out you had them dominated. just need to note down no reads gotta call and then note for next time you in hand preflop with the opponent, need very good read to lay queens pre
