    Sounds like a cash job.

The RNG on here (lol) is well geared for action on the cash tables. The winner is the rake after everyone is fighting to get their money in the middle........

Haha i cant argue with that, you know ive always looked at it in the follwing way.
There are 32 cards from 2 through to 9
There are 20 cards from 10 through to A
That is 60/40 in favour of the lower cards
What do you continuously see on a flop?
2 cards that are 10 or above
    Coincidence?
    Not on your nelly
    lol ;o)

Interesting way to look at it Debs - especially as the players seeing the flop are likely to be holding picture cards too. You should do one of your experiments and get some stats together.

You guys know that rake is capped right?

Bigger pot doesn't = more rake neccesserily.

Here's an idea for you, open up a 100nl cash table, and watch 300 hands (realistic sample size, obv 100 million is better if you have time)

Count how many pots occur where there isn't even a flop dealt, therefore, sky doesn't take a penny in rake.

    You'll be surprised.

Edit * - So yeh if me and one other player somehow have £100 stacks on a 2p 4p table, and we get stitched up with quad aces v a royal flush, sky will only get 70p in rake. This is the max they charge.

I've seen AA v KK v QQ v JJ six handed on another site (and it's possible the two players who folded also had pocket pairs). I picked up the JJ in position and folded pre-flop because there was so much action before my turn to act.

A few days ago in a bounty hunter tournament on Sky I got it all-in pre-flop with KK pre-flop against AQ and another player with KK. The other player with KK won a monster pot when he made a flush.

Situations like this are always going to happen if the cards are dealt randomly. If it never happens that's when you should be suspicious. I guarantee you at a table somewhere every few million cards the hole cards will be AA v AA v KK v KK v QQ v QQ, that combination is equally as likely as any other you might care to name in advance.

    I make my money online, I play 42 hours a week online, that's 12 hours a day, 7 days a fortnight.

On course to make at least 20k this year tax free.

I started last September after finishing Uni with a degree in PE and Youth Sport, which no1 can ever take off me, and it doesn't go out of date.

Im also entitled to drive into town every other week and sign on for £100 a fortnight, thats 3.6k a year of your money.

I did this 3 times after leaving uni, then realised that the hour it took to drive into town, the 5r it cost me to park up, and the tenner it cost me in fast food was -ev, as I cud make that online in the same amount of time.

So yeh I spend alot of time looking at a computer, while laid in bed/on the sofa, I actually won a £200 pot whilst nokin 1 out to a sl Ut on redtube once. That's job satisfaction.

U prob spend alot of time looking at bricks, or a kiosk, or even a steering wheel. Happy days, You're qualified.

    :)

P.S, If you're reading this after 11 on a week night, you best get yourself off to bed, u got work in the morning.

Actually i don't think you are, if you have 'other incomes' 'savings' 'investments' etc over a certain amount (im not sure how much but its certainly lower than 20k) you are not entitled to receive jobseekers allowance. I know its not taxable, but it must still be declared as other income/moneys for that year for claims purposes. Its the same if you won 20k on a scratch card you would not be eligible! Now whats your full name JJ and NI number, address and social security benefit claims code? You owe us three weeks dole!!!

I was in a tourney once on 888. Had 7's in a 4 way flop of 7-8-9- rainbow. Triggered a psychotic all in.one of us had 9's the other 8's but guess who won. Someone with A-A that hit the river. Hmmmm i said to myself. Now that was a statistical anomaly. But it was nine handed so quite commonplace really.
