Different types of poker

edited August 2009 in Poker Chat
Thanks 4 answering my last question on how long the site has been running.

So if the site has been running since 31/1/07 how come holdem is still the only game on here.

When i joined (6/7/09 not that long ago, i know b4 u start shouting) i did ask about stud, omaha, draw and was told there where plans to bring them in.

Is there an actual date?

I have an account with full tilt and use to with pokerroom b4 it closed down and they have/had the full works and in my opinion u can play any 2 cards in holdem and normally have a 50/50 chance of winning where as i feel the other types of poker reward the better/more careful player.

Would just like 2 add i do like the way the site is set up, very easy 2 use, great the money is in pounds and the fact the membership is small it seems closer knit, plus u run into the same people quite often and can get 2 know them and their style of play.

Cheers

JOHN

Omaha is planned but I seriously doubt stud etc will get introduced as they are very much fringe/specialist games.

With a site this small, the games will rarely run.

For example I got into poker by playing Fixed Limit Hold'Em on Party, and still play that today at a fairly high level but here the tables never ever run and when they do most of the players don't even realise they're on a FL table.

Also poker is fairly new to the UK in general, and Hold'Em is all people know as thats the game thats on TV/played in pubs.
