On-Line Poker - Apology

edited October 2010 in The Poker Clinic
Ladies and Gentlemen I recently posted a Headline is it a FIX? I think this has been mis-understood in the wrong context and in the manner that would be seen as a Major Moaner, this is NOT the Case. I am researching this for an article for a Magazine in Ireland and I am trying to get players opinions on their feelings and whether any of the large Card Rooms would be willing to invite players to view the Software in the Back Room showing it play out a hand and the workings behind it.

As a Punter you can go into a Live Casino and see everything, if you enter a Restaurant you are entitled to ask to view the kitchen in which the food is prepared. However in Online Gaming as a whole and Poker having a large percentage of online Gaming we all as Punters are unable to view the mechanics behind an Online Tournament. the comment of a FIX was probably strong however Manipulation could be a more suitable term. You may ask in what way does the Software benefit from any manipulation and you are absolutely correct. However in the next tournament you each play in write down how many times AA v KK happens and Trips Run into trips with the player directly next to you on the table, this is the most common similarity in all online poker rooms and the other is when you play against a large chipstack and you have AK v his A3 and the flop comes 3 3 something then ask whether Online is a true Reflection on the real game.

I appreciate all your comments to date and apologies if you have found this topic a boring spoiled child comment but its interesting in the research to date that 80% do agree that online tournaments and jackpot sit-gos do appear to have minipulation poker.
