Apat UK Team championship G Casino Bolton 29th-30th Jan 2011

Hi guys.
The Apat Uk team championship will be held at the G casino Bolton on 29/30 jan 2011.We want a team to represent Sky poker.This is a great tournament to be in with teams from all over the UK.With 25 teams and 8 players per team.£50 per player and no reg fee.50% of prize pool going to the top finishing teams and 50% to the top individual finishers.To be confirmed a GUKPT seat to the individual winner.Structure,10K chips,45min clock over 2 days.
Want to play for Sky poker? Put your name down on this thread. We will run a 4 week league (with skypokers help & approval) with the top eight players going onto the Skypoker team, with the first place finisher being captain.Final date for entries will be 19/nov/2010.
Would love to see the Sky celebs play this,Tikay,LML,Richard,James,Trevor, Dave,etc. So get your names down guys and the best of luck.

    I was 7th in this last year for Sky Poker, was a great 2 days!! I am definately up for doing it all again.

    Check with Sky Des Frank as I know he has plans on how to select a team

    Has APAT even confirmed that Sky will have a team again?

    I know it's likely that they will, I just wouldn't want to jump the gun/tempt fate.


    EDIT: plus what Solarcarro has said about whether Sky will do it exactly the same as last year anyway

    I do know that Des has some plans for the selection this year, if Sky get a spot of course. Might be best off holding off until we know for sure.

    APAT have announced some details. They are currently inviting forums/clubs to declare their interest. Each team will definitely be consisting of only 8 players. Selected teams will be informed on 1st December 2010.

    Sky Des has already declared our interest in this, and now all we have to do is wait to see whether we get a place. No assumptions that we will get one, there's a ridiculous amount of interest as you would expect, and one thing that APAT aren't going to do is show favouritism, no matter who is running the job here or there.

    assuming sky get a place and assuming there are play offs or such, i would love to play for sky again, as solar said, it was a great weekend last year and i would jump at the chance to represent sky in this tourney again.
