Well I had a great night last night. Played the 7pm deepstack and £400 deepstack.
Started off badly when my wireless signal dropped just as the £400 tables were launching.
Panic stations - after rebooting computer and router without success, dashed for the ethernet cable and with this trailing across lounge, managed to connect.
My table popped and there's Tikay10 sat behind me nicking my blinds! lol!
Every table in this tourney is tough and this one was no different. Was fortunate to stay on the same table all night and what great fun was had by all.
The final table was made up of myself, spitfire10, gadgerno1, Phil12uk, Nutter5932 and a new player called Tikay10. FlashFlush was unfortunate to bubble. The battle lasted over an hour with some great banter and suckouts before I managed to fluke another win. (Thinly veiled brag!)
Throughout the final table there were numerous railers and the chat box was so busy it was difficult to keep up with all the posts and play a reasonable game!
Tip: How to play a good game 'heads up'? Have a bottle of wine first!
Still a great night and looking forward to the next encounter.
So call in for some grub and drinks and I look forward to hearing your side of the story.

well played last night huck, enoyed final table, good standard, banter etc.hopefully see you all on there again soon guys.
Well done all for taking the bad beats in their stride and no bad mouthing (although i would understand it if you were all calling me the lucky fish).
I cant make tonights game but will be back tomorrow good luck in Nottingham at the weekend hope you go deep.

For my part managed 30/106 in deepstack and cashed in 5th in the £400 so a reasonable night played in good spirit again.
The APAT World Championship of Amateur Poker starts tomorrow at DTD with the Omaha MTT.
I know that Bigshann and Vindaloo are joining me there with Tikay present.
Any other Sky players going during the 4 days?
Well done last night, dont it make ya fell better a winning session... had a result myself last night on the cash tables, which is something i very rarely play .. but i just fancied a small cash session !!
Oh well must go, the Tea was good tks

I've been waiting for ages.
Just had to resort to making a turkey tikka massala - pretty creative for 4:30am I think you'll agree.
Our paths didnt cross in the deepstack last night!
Well morning peeps!
Played the APAT WCOAP Omaha event at DTD last night.
Sky Des and Tikay in attendance.
Now I have to say I am not a great Omaha player, indeed I have only played it a couple of times before and I was totally out of my depth to be frank.
It is very different having 4 cards and to give you an example of my inneptitude - blinds were 50/100 and I picked up AAJ3 under the gun and had been told not to raise too much when the blinds were small so I justed called. In total there were 6 people in the pot.
The flop comes down AKQ which is not that great! Fearing a JT somewhere I checked and so did every one else. Turn comes down a 8s and everyone checks again.
River comes a 3s putting 3 spades on board. Everyone round to the cut off checks again and he bets 500
.
I decided to donk off 500 chips and called - I declare a set of Aces and he mucks a set of Kings. then somebody pointed out that I actually had a flush!
So I under declared and still won the hand.
Anway lasted 5 hours and finally went out when getting my chips in while ahead but c'est la vie. Enjoyed the game and at least I was in the top half!
Having said that there was a no show on my table who blinded away going out 2 places before me!
Today is Day 1A on the main event so I am pleased to be back to NLHE!
