Personally i would have re-raised pre but 90% of time stacking here unless strong read on the opponent. Defo wouldn't call

Sylvac has played like alot of people silly little min raise like that does look strong most the time, but still not getting away from this unless i have good read

yeah, i didnt like to re-raise as there were alot of of players to go again after me and was a bit worried about how the betting was goin to go.

Should never be worried when you have a big hand mate, personally you will find out more pre and easier to get away if you play it strongly. would always recommened playing big hand strongly

This is exactly why you re-raise if your going to play it. You need to thin the field, if you let everyone with suited connectors or high cards in then your chances of still being ahead on the flop are slim. Chances are that once you re-raise this pot properly (taking into account all the limpers, the only call you get is from the queens, they may even shove pre in which case you can fold saving your tournament. Your JJ is only 50 - 50 against KQ at this point and with low blinds you can get away from this. Once your at the flop you may still stack off but a decent raise will help you define the range of your opponent.

This makes perfect sense to me. J-J is a difficult hand to play esp. in the blinds. I still play it in the old fish stylee and pretend it's 2-2 until latter stages.
This hand reminded me of one i played with J-J before once in a tourney. I decided to be really aggressive like ACESOVER advocates and on a similar undercard flop insta- rammed from first position heads-up like you want it. My oppo dwelled and showed me Q-Q in folding. Seldom that easy tho.  But i knew why. Wonder what their forum post looked like ? Know what i mean guv ?

Definately think you should have rerraised first time it came round to you. Just a call in this spot is horrible unless you want to play it as a setmine hand because its early, but if not do you really want to see a flop with 4-5 people with jacks? If you had reraised then you might have chance to get away from it when the guy UTG reraises you, which I'm sure he would have. I don't totally mind a call from SB or BB sometimes with JJ if there is less action preflop, but in this case I'm never wanting that many people coming to the flop, as you just about certain to be facing so many live cards you will get outdrawn.

As played maybe you could still get off it, as I'm always mega on guard when  you get a limper that then wants to reraise from UTG or UTG+1 etc, as it screams strength in most cases.
