I give up ive manged to burn my entire bankroll, then half a reload in the space of 24hrs. When i look back, yes there are some bad plays. But then the amount of times ive been called with nonsense is beyond a joke. Ive lost all love for playing and wish you all a good day.

DYMS
and MTTs
I know this first hand is a little bad on my part but the guy had done this 6 or 7 times against me now. So i fully believed he was weak.
thats probably the pick of the bunch or that i can now be bothered searching for.
bob
I don't want to seem presumptuous but i think you will at some point return to playing HE because you do actually love the game.
I would like to make a suggestion tho. When i went thru one of those phases a ( long ) while back i decided to play 9/10 max instead. I still do. I don't bother playing 6 max anymore. Some of the problems you are encountering are maybe partly to do with the format. Some people are not as experienced as you. Maybe they've seen people ' making moves ' on the tv and/or bluffing or semi-bluffing and think " this is what poker must be about ". Some people are just a bit simple and/or get a buzz out of having a daft gamble. However some of the decisions these people make are BECAUSE it's 6 max. Like when you hear people say " well it was hu so" . So it vindicates the occasional bad decision. Rightly or wrongly this is a fact. Also with 9/10 max the extra players act as a filter. The loose players don't last as long. Yes you get daft action sometimes and yes people do luckily spin up a bit of a stack with stupid moves. It doesn't last too long. In my experience they inevitably get picked clean by the micro regs that understand a bit then leave empty-handed. The variance gets reduced.
Yeah it's tighter as a rule and a more patient game, you do get 3/4 extra hands an orbit for your blinds. All i do is play more tables so i don't get too bored. I don't have many losing sessions when i grind it out on 8.
So i guess you get my drift. The culmination of the above when added to an ' evil day ' dynamic can often be brutal and catastrophic to anyone's br. When i see an ' evil day ' starting nowadays i just get off after unluckily losing 3 consecutive buy-ins. There's always tomorrow and everyday is different.
Anyway man try not to get too down. I genuinely hope that you find some of what i say useful.
You don't feel like it at the moment but i think you'll be back and GL to you when you do.
NEVER GIVE UP !!!!!!!
Yes u r right about full ring. Seems pretty unpopular on this site .Wonder why ?
Thing is i think that a lot of people don't properly understand the difference between 6 and full. TOTALLY different game. If people want to start off on 6 ( not regs like Don obv. ) then i personally reckon they don't do enough research which is a pity on this site as 6 seems to be the standard.
I'd advise any beginner to learn the basics on full b4 making the switch after proper study.
Save a lot of unhappy posts.
GL and Hopefully c u soon x
Everything Doh and Shelski said (apart from using your student loan, lol).
I just dropped £300 playing live cash above my roll, wasn't fun - back down the stakes I go.
Good Luck!
M8. You really need to calm down.
You don't seem to be in a position where you want to listen but maybe you should anyway ?
You think these people don't know ? They post because they like wasting their time ?
Take a bit of time out. It won't change whilst you're not here. Read the posts and don't play ok?
Then think.
I think maybe just having a goal to focus on which the experianced player keeps reminding me. Im going to put a big note above my pc reminding me of silly little stuff lol
DYM bubble gta feel sorry for my opponent though.
DAM BLOODY 7's - was short stacked here because of top two pair v bottom set when i was on BB
And it continues. Running pretty decent in 2.20 deepie, get to final table bubble and boom.
I never chase a fluh unless its a strong one or i have added straight draws.
EDIT - wanted to add this hand its a dym but as you can see just past the bubble, and then the karma comes back to give me a suckout lol.
