Not sure where to post this so if its in the wrong place can a dev move it please:)


Thought i would introduce myself,im 46 yrs of age due to ill health im now retired from work.I have only been playing poker about 6 weeks and really enjoy the game.Ive won a few tourneys which is an awesome feeling considering the time ive been playing.

Tried playing cash games but not for me i play in the BH mtt stakes from £2/£6 buy ins hope to see you on the tables gl all and have fun

    welcome slaverchop, if you want something differant to bh may i recommend deepstacks £2-20- 12min blinds and 5000 chips

    Welcome slaverchop. I'm biased of course, but may I also suggest you watch Channel 865 if you have Sky, or watch the Sky Poker TV stream available on the homepage. I'm sure you'll enjoy it if you're new to the game and you'll pick loads of good info about the game in no time.

    ty all for the nice welcome.@young_gun my bank roll at this present time is £100 ive doubled my money which im happy about :) im only playing for fun m8.


    spornybol ty i will play a few deepstacks as you say good way to learn.



    rich im on cable but i do watch the show everyday in the lobby and already learnt a few good tips must say love the show keep up the good work.

    Having sat at your table in the take on tikay for quite a period i can already see you know what your doing! you were sitting pretty comfy on the bubble and the hand against me was a massive cooler (ak v a10, a, 10, 5 flop) , ul tonight but i think you may make a bit of money from your new past time :)

    welcome to the forums mate.

    and congrats on your wins. If your wanting t play mtts and cash and your just learning the game i advise sticking to one for a while, guiding by what people have said above though you know what your doing :)

    hi don im just sticking to mtt dont fancy losing my cash on cash tables just yet lol.I played a cash game 3 week ago but didnt know that 3 of a kind beat 2 pair hence i lost a tenner lol.Gl on the tables.
