Evening all,

Tonight Mr Harris and I are taking the reigns of the Cash 300 pre-Crimbo sled.. (Sorry, I'm getting VERY excited about all the amazing Post bikini-diet Christmas fare I will be gorging myself on this December).

We'll be warming up on 15p/30p before moving on to the CASH 300!!

There will  be Prizes.. In the shape of a free TSP entry for the night of your choice for the best Hand ID sent in this evening..

...and we have a special giveaway in the shape of  book:

"Online ACE" by Scott Fischman w' foreword by Phil Hellmuth.
(A WSOP champions guide to mastering internet poker)

To get your grubby little mitts on this epic work of literary genius you need to do the following:

Throughout the evening Sky Mandy will furnish my ears with three random non-poker related words that I will need to try and get into a sentence.

The first person to post all three words on this thread after 11.30pm will win the prize.. And I may just through in a few herrings of the red variety just to keep things interesting..

And FINALLY... Just for fun, as the last of our TSP players leaves the Blackpool GUKPT (Mr Wayne Glitterbabe Simples ran his 99 into KK. Sad face)... What is the best/worst/craziest trip you have ever been on in this country.. seaside or otherwise.

Keep it clean please.. Orford used up our whole months supply of allowable on air filth last Thursday!!

    Before the competition starts can I just check whether Ceiling-fan counts as one word or two?

    Edit: The first person to answer the second question with Trip5 gets an instant forum ban.

    COME ON TIKAY ADMIT IT THAT YOUR NOT IN BLACKPOOL JUST FOR THE POKER, YOU ALSO THERE TOO SEE IF THOSE DONKEY`S ( I DON`T MEAN RICORFORD) HAVE RECOVERED FULLY WHEN LML AND SKY MANDY GAVE THEM A RIDE SURELY THEY SHOULD BE CHARGED ???

    anyway back to the subject...hardcore trips...

    thursday...hamden park (glasgow) Chilli peppers gig (1 mega bus and two trains later...)

    friday...back to bradford...off to leeds carling festival..have weekend tickets, for cheap!!

    saturday...miss the coach to london for the challenge cup final between st. helens v catalan dragons..got the next coach but missed the beginning of the match...couldn't get a tube for 2 hours so missed the last coach home...slept in london...

    Sunday...7 hour coach journey back to leeds festivlal for the chilli peppers (again) ..

    so...bradford...scotland...leeds...london...leeds...all within a weekend

    bad planning for the win

    hi guys don`t know if you can show this hand it was in a £2.20 deepstack at 9.15,this was my second hand into it, but would really love to know what trev views are, was my betting right, did oppo have odds to call after my bet and reraise flop then all in turn ?

    I'm still lolling that when Mandy told me that story during the break, she meant it to be for my private amusement. Not for sharing with all our viewers a few moments later!!

    How was I supposed to know? Mandy's the producer, I thought she was offering me some material for the show!

    Ah well Mand, at least no-one seems to have remembered it....ahem, nice one Aaron.

    Good show LML and Trev - beauty and brains all behind one desk! ;) Bit worried about the Owls going into administration next week!

    Quick (ish) question seeing as it's Cash night...

    I've started recently playing Cash after getting back into poker with about a year or so away from the game and the site. A few months ago I was playing free play only then changed to the weekend free rolls and now I'm dipping into some 2/4p cash to see how my play shapes up to cash.

    I'm testing the water so I'm being quite tight for a while even at this low level. From my experiences so far being very disciplined and being careful with 'decent' hands like 3-3, 6-6 is going well - either pre-flop raising to try and see where I am or folding these hands depending on my position. Due to coming up against many call stations do you think I'm doing the right thing? They are quite difficult to read although I am winning in terms of BR when I leave the tables. My entire bankroll which is nearing £100 is all prizes so I guess I am doing something right.

    Is there any shame in starting this low? :) I think I could handle higher levels but don't want to invest in a bigger bankroll just yet!
