obviously wasn't folding that turn, pre call cos odds getting and if hit big possible i can stack someone

perfect flop for me no straight out there no draws but still thought i would get paid playing strongly, turn appeared to be blank so hoping ace high would call ouch!

you played it fine.  if he is limping in with A4 i dont think it matters if he hits his 2pr or not.  he was stacking off if the turn was a 5 for example

yeah unlucky with so many players in pot u could consider shoving flop

  • edited November 2010
not a fan of shoving tbh batters, where you been??

maybe overbet flop but shoving seems pointless here losing out on value against a rag

no problems whatsoever, I'd never shove that flop- complete waste of time, you're only likely to get called by hands dominating you. Betting out is definitely important to get value from single pair hands and commit them to when you shove the turn.

Everything went exactly right except he paired the turn too, what can you do- cooler.

cheers deuces i did think that as i was shoving any non straight turn, well probably any in this case actually due to stack if they did make straight on turn still have outs
