Question for both TK and James

If you cut a sandwich in half, how many sandwiches do you now have?

    !

The best bit is the disclaimer at the bottom of the Vid. "Distance travelled extended as train is travelling in opposite direction".

What's that, in case somone goes to the Trading Standards Offce & seeks a refund?

    Love it!

I think its a 'level' TK.

The man and fire extinguisher are already travelling at the 50mph or whatever the train speed is when he sets off, therefore he can't add that speed to his 'rocket speed'.

Questions for James, can a plane take off on a treadmill?

    Gerrard or Lampard?

Looking like a short show at the moment so heres some serious questions to keep James on his toes:

What level of cash  did you start at and at what point, did you think you would step up a level?

If you have stepped up through the levels to the stakes you play today, how has your game changed to adapt to playing better players?

I,ve seen you in interviews joking about your bluffing, but has this played a big part in your rise up through the levels (bluffing)  and now you are more well known as a TSP player and your game is more exposed,  have you tightened up at all?

    last question -
How much emphasis do you put on making notes and what do you write in your notes (essays or just single letters which stand for something) and how long should you play someone for , before making notes on that person?

example -  I made some notes on someone a while ago and played them recently but there game was nothing like my notes suggested - i think i was a bit to hasty - i had only played the player for a few hours and this was a few weeks later. I now realise they just had a bad night when i made my notes and they are actuallly quite a good  player normally and have now adjusted them as i know more about them

Cheers and good luck with TSP

    Haha, Brilliant, one wonders.

Okay on a more serious note. I'm looking for more examples rather than answers, and might well be something you are now well seasoned with after Blackpool. It refers to Floating, something which I understand should not be done OOP. So assuming that all floats are done IP, and we want to balance our call, fold raise range (we can't bluff raise overcards all the time as this will be picked up on and easily picked apart) Can you give us examples of floating with overcards on certain board textures say QJ, AQ, AJ, AK and when and when not to do it.

    And for my cash tip

A little something I picked up from a pro and I would like you both to maybe add to it or share your opinion that may discredit the idea. It reagrds stabbing at unraised pots. Typically done on the blinds with with your entire range pending notes people limping with monsters I understand we should be trying to take down these pots ALL of the time on boards such as 522, T33, 884, 993, T52, 239 all rainbow flops as it's easy enough to give up if called. Your opinion please.

    Kind Regards
    Ilona

p.s Does this show take phone calls?

Cash tip:  Keep a small bag of change in your car's glove box so you are never at a loss when it comes to needing change in a car park.

    Hello everyone!

    Bump!!
  • edited November 2010
This Question is for the Hulk -  Holdem Poker has thrived over recent years and there is a very fine line between a great Holdem cash player and a good Holdem cash player, if this trend keeps continuing - in 2 years + it will be soooooooo hard to make a proper living from Holdem - Would you ever consider maybe specialising in another format which is less known such as Omaha when this time comes?

This question is for Grandad - Leading on from my question to James, would you ever advise top players like James to adjust to playing a new format now so that they are ahead of others who would only dabble outside Holdem in preperation or do you think there will never be a need for a change from Holdem?

Other than position, what are the most important factors when deciding weather or not to 3 bet light pre flop?

What are you trying to achieve by doing this against loose opponents??

And also, would you bother with this sort of play at 50nl, or would you just play more solid, abc stuff?

    Thanks Ms Chips.

That was some brutal session you endured there, & I hope you got some of it back.

From what I saw, you did little wrong, though running a set of Kings into a set of Aces is rarely a good thing imo.

I thought you played the 8-8 spectacularly.

Ms Chips, although you suffered at the hands of the poker gods, you are a very good and exciting player to watch. Wd to James, enjoyed the shows and he came across as a really nice guy.
