Could well be true, my 40s have been great so far.

Highlights include;

Much happiness in my private life
Plenty of job satisfaction
Picked to be 'The face of Milk & More', my pic on websites, leaflets, newspaper ads etc.
Holiday of a lifetime in Australia
Caribbean cruise
John o'Groats to Lands End walk
My first parachute jump
Discovering poker and making a load of money while having fun playing it

You must have misread the OP!!!!

The question was does life begin at 40...and not, does life begin at 50...
