Satellite tournament entries, cash alternative to seat?

edited November 2010 in Poker Chat
If you win a tournament entry via a satellite, but then something crops up that means you're no longer able to participate is it possible to take a cash alternative to your seat?

And what would happen if you accidentally clicked 'cancel registration' after winning a seat? It could easily happen while you're looking at the lobby or you have it highlighted on the main tournament page.

    Hi Gary

I beleive in both instances, Customer Care need to be contacted, they would be able to put you in a seat at a later date that you would be able to play in, tey should also be able to re instate a player who accidentaly cancelled the registartion.

One thing I think should be changed to prevent this is an option after you have clicked 'cancel registration', a pop-up to confirm asking 'are you sure? [yes] [no]' or something like that.

It does doesnt it? If you click cancle registration, a pop up does appear saying shaun09, are you sure you would like to be de-registered from the £15k Primo Direct tournament starting at 13:30?Then you click cancle. They do have another pop up.

Gary, say your in the £1.60 sattilite and you get into the !0pm Bh semi, (£7.20) if you cant play it, CS will change it to the next night if you can make it, But if the tournament isint already in lobby. They will put a note next to your name for you to then contact them the next day, when the next Bh semi is in lobby and they will register you,

Same example, if you get into the 10pm semi via the 1.60 sattilite, If you want money back they will give you thr £1.60 back, not the £7.20.
