IS IT EVER OK TO SHOOT YOUR CHILDREN'S PUPPY?

Imagine the scene, wife in hospital, kids watching tv upstairs and me lounging on the couch playing poker and watching NFL. I'm having a real good session on omaha cash and waiting for the Sky Team players freeroll to start, when suddenly i'm disconnected! What the flip i cry, immediately trying to source out the problem. After re-booting and doing all the usual things i venture into the dining room and find that Toby, the kids cute?? jack russell puppy has bitten through the phone cable that is connected to modem. Sky can't come and fix it for 4 days so i've had to go out and buy a dongle. So, that brings me to the question in the title. Does anyone have any similar stories.

PS. The dog is ok, the question is hypothetical!

I think it happens when you start posting a thread, then take too long to finish it and get logged out!

I think it's fine if it was suffering from a terminal illness.
Opinions on euthanasia are often quite divisive and emotive however.

His real name is Jud Casper and when he were a lad he killed his brother Billys' kestrel wi bow n't'arrow and left it's corpse in bin !
