and they say skys bad try i poker sites for a day or 2 then see what u think lol
oh yeah and no surprise iPoker is a bit of a joke. was a great skin to bonus wh ore on tho.
Ask Tikay, he's a big fan of iPoker.
Basically they don't want winning players and any skin (off iPoker) with a talented and profitable group of players gets punished financially. VC leaving will start a landslide ...... iPoker RIP.
I phoned him later he told me he made 1 in a row.
but yeah ipoker suck, are pretty shady and last time i played there its was full of shortstacks and regs.
iPoker is a network that runs the software programme. Various poker sites (as most know them) such as VC, are actually ''skins'' off the same network under different names. For example if you sign up with VC you will not just be playing against other VC members. You will be playing members of other skins such as PaddyPower, Titan, Expekt , Blue Square, Mansion, Betfred, Bet 365 etc. Altogether there are about 20 sites which are skins off iPOker. This is how they end up with huge playing numbers and big tournament guarantees. For example, when you see ''40,000 players on line'' - this is the total for the network which is spread over 20 sites giving an average of 2,000 per site.
iPoker don't like their skins to have too many profitable players and so they ''fine'' the skin/poker site if they pay out too much in winnings. It's a little more complex than that but it sums it up nicely. I'm sure Tikay could give chapter and verse on the subject as he was a victim of this with his Blonde Poker site. The punishment went as far as to effect the players financially but I know that Tikay and his fellow directors stood the losses and ensured that the Blonde members were treated fairly.
I may be corrected on some of the detail by Tikay but that is more or less the gist of it.
there used to be way more than that. many went broke/were kicked off. as you stated before it was the more poker specialist sites like Blonde that took liquidity off the site....and the big boys of the network like Titan would get peeed off as they were the ones investing $$$$$$s in marketing to find the fish.
still very unethical of them to do it tho. but thats the curse of the network as all skins can't bring equal amounts to the table.
also one of the things that was 'banned' on iPoker was rakeback. however skins opened up to make a quick buck by offering rakeback thru affiliates going under the iPoker radar.
iPoker will still continue, but it needs to consolidate the amount of skins it offers and police the site better. it does have some good tournies (back in the day I was European Online Limit Hold'Em Champion /brag) and the software is decent. but the level of customer service is lacking and it does need to do more to attract some casual players.
so is it rigged on i poker sites
just asking with you saying they dont like winning players?
if it is how do they rigg it surly it has to be fair sites other wise they would be done
