Primo with Hartigan & Harris ***OFFICIAL LIVE SHOW THREAD***
Hello,
I've returned from Barthelona - just in time to host tonight's live show on channel 865.
It's Sunday, so it must be Primo (complete with Poker Clinic interlude). The tournament commences at 8pm. The television programme begins at 9pm - when Trevor Harris will be analysing hands from this six-max No Limit Hold'em event.
Now, I'm going to be honest: I'm completely cream-crackered, after working very hard in Spain (and staying up a bit too late last night), so would appreciate your help in keeping my brain active until 1am! Motivational statements and broadcastable jokes are welcome. As are suggestions for easy exercises one can perform behind a desk to stimulate the body and mind ![:) :)](https://community.staging.skypoker.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Also, as I entertain / bore you with stories of unorthodox hands from EPT Barcelona, I'd like to hear about strange things you've witnessed at the poker table and the bizarre rulings that followed: Players forced all-in without hole cards...jokers dealt on the flop by mistake...opponents falling asleep in the middle of a hand*
E-mail skyopen@bskyb.com or post away in this thread.

Nice to hear you on ITV in the FA cup goals Trevor
i think one of the hardest decisions made against me was in a 300 pound tournament, down to the last 20, had over sixty thousand chips in the middle. I showed my trips and the guy chuck his cards into the muck. He then retrieved them and turned them over to show a straight. I asked for a ruling because his cards had hit the muck. The tournament director ruled his cards live because as he was old he made a mistake. I know it may sound harsh had i done that it would not have gone in my favour. tina
Good luck in staying awake for tonight's show!!
You know all about this one of course!! Sian held 66 on a 6 x x flop shoved her stack and was called by AA, turn was an A and then 2 players both claimed to have folded aces!! The pack was checked and lo and behold there were 2 A of Hearts in the deck.
The ruling was hand stands as they claimed everybody was at the same disadvantage????? Sian was forced to rebuy and tilted that off pretty quickly, she was later compensated by the casino.
We were advised by a few people never to play in this casino again and then a few weeks ago Sky announced it was the venue for SPT Leeds!! Oh dear!
Dave
Could the ruling not also have went, that the winning player in hand got the chip, as ALL-IN was announced and cards on the backs???
Interesting to hear your expert view and of course your knowledge in getting the names/year right
Also, Sporting question for Trevor,................What happened on this day in 1967 in the horse racing???
oh, he wasnt the oponent was he?????
U heard from hoggers yet ? LOL
they have now been married 13yrs. phew! that was a lucky escape.
LAST LINES ? famous “last lines” from films over the years; in other words they were the very last line or lines uttered before the film ended. I will give you the A"s LATER c how u do
exercise to keep alert.
Bare foot on rug. Make Fists with your toes
Got a maybe funny ruling for you.
I'm at a poker club on a MTT Final table. A Swedish gentleman has acted out of turn several times previously, and the house rule is that you lose your action (i.e. can only fold or call) for the rest of that hand. He does this again and keeps trying to raise when it's on him. I raise pre and again he tries to shove but can only call. I flop trip Aces and yet again he tries to shove and while he has his stack over the line I announce all in. Now he drags his stack back towards him, in a delightfully thick Scandinavian accent says 'Now it's more difficult' and tank folds. I ask for a ruling (making it clear I don't know the correct decision and that I am not shooting an angle, I just want the right outcome). The TD announces that while his chips were well over the line as he lost his action he was entitled to take them back and then decide if he wanted to call. The rest of table groaned, his continual antics had tilted everyone, I chuckled
Any chance you can show and give advice regarding the hand below from 2nites primo
