poket aces did i play it well?

This was first hand in the £100 freeroll  pre flop i raised small to keep him in the pot but when the board pairs should i of slowed down. advice please thanks

    also the reason i shoved river was that i dont think he would check the river with a Q and the pot was 1.5k i had 2k back so if hes gonna call a 1k-1.2k bet he would call a shove. is this righht way to think?

    That kind of betting from him on all the streets - check calling, min betting the flop, screams I HAVE THE QUEEN!!!! there are no draws for him to be calling with etc etc.

    Bet on the flop had to be made, and one on turn is ok.......although i might make it smaller than potting it as we are more than likely behing here if here if he calls a second barrel.im  Never making an bet on the river ever ever after those check calls and a min bet of the flop.

    This all said.....it was a free role - he could have had anything!!!

    The reason he checked the turn & river was because you re raised him on the flop, so unless you was bluffing he knew he could get 3 streets of value !! Comprendie :)

    in my eyes pre flop bet more i think u should made  to 80 100  but soon as call on  the flop and turn i give up the hand.

    aces in a free roll hmmm, i would personally put to 100 pre. on that flop and small bet would also re-raise to 6-8 times their bet, once called alarm bells would be ringing and i would want to get to the river as cheap as possible. dont like the shove at all on the river only getting called by someone with a queen or FH, missing value if your opponent has good pair or pair on board also so would value bet river and then fold to shove etc.

    thanks for all ur comments, i only played this way co it was a freeroll i just cant give anyone respect for a good hand maybe i go into freerolls with the wrong state of mind but if this was a 5.50 buy in or somethink i play it as all of u said i should of..

    ok wise ones, raise more pre? think K88 still calls or re-raises any!!

    post, relatively small bet, tryin to encourage re-raise BOY Did I GET IT!! Set hit no getting off?

    Could/Should I Fold, when put all in?..... with 120 back, am not there!!!

    as played your prob never good to k88s 4bet, you have 120 behind which is far from commited.

    I would of bet a little more on the flop and possibly call jaeger squeeze as he can a widish range here with k88 coming in before him so i expect he can have J10s/108s/ and 56s/68s depending on how loose he is. If he is reli tight id prob just fold as im a little bit wary of his squeeze size and expect him to have 97s and sets.

    I think your small 3bet to a 100 is spewy, its looks very strong and wont induce weaker hands to shove everything better is just going to go allin.

    thanks for the advice, if honest, had stepped up a couple of levels from mi normal level after a long good run.......POW!!! lol

    Pretty new to cash too, so probably flattered by some moderate success, found a couple of players pretty lively!

    I was very suss of k88's original flat call & post flop call, as seemed to be re-raise or fold mostly, had hoped it was a disguised kk,qq, ak etc so was pleased with flop!!!

    Was not sure of J, who seemed tighter compared to table, so his post flop re-raise was what i wanted!!

    Was a bit shocked at the massive re-re raise, did think about set, but being the lil' donk i am was always goin with the £117 call, like to think i would have had a tougher descision with more 'back', but who knows!! LOL

    Enjoyed the time with these players, but wont kill myself tryin to catch them up!!

    fwiw I'd be betting bigger flop and just flatting Jaegers flop raise.  this is the kind of board which he isn't gonna be doing semi-bluffing with equity....sometimes he'll have T8 but thats rare. 

    say the board was 9 7 3 with 2 hearts then I'd be much more comfortable getting it in than on that one.
