    Dear Santa,

For Christmas this year please may I have either a 3D Television, an iPad, a Blu Ray Home Cinema Set, an X-Box Kinetic Bundle, a Digital Camera or an SPT Event Seat please?

I have been very very good this year.

    Dear Santa

Having used up the last of my hard earned cash investing in sky multi room, (so i can keep up with the BRILLIANT sky poker channel in everyroom!). Your kind helper from sky came to fit it on sat 18/12 (job no 106465433). He did a lovely job, hiding all the cables, tidying up the mess etc. Unfortunatly he put a nail through our gas pipe, which caused a leak. So i'm lucky to be alive to watch sky poker channel or play in your santa's sack tournie, NUDGE NUDGE WINK WINK HINT HINT!
We had to have our gas supply turned of for 24 hours and it was MINUS 8! It was FREEZING! So it would be a lovely gesture from yourself SKY SANTA to have a seat in your tournament and all would be DEFINATLY FORGIVEN.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS

                  HESKEY

p.s  Sky were superb with there help in sorting out the problem.

             THANKYOU

A couple of years ago my birthday was coming up and my ever thoughtful wife asked me what i would like. I love a game of chess, im not great at it but i just like playing occasionally. My wife, god bless her, no matter how much i tried to teach her she couldn't understand the game ( she prefers draughts). 'An electronic chess set' i said, that way i can play against the computer ( level 1 of course). My birthday duly arrived and i got home from work to be greeted by a rectangular parcel. Great not clothes but a proper man toy lol. I opened it up and there in front of me was an electronic chess game, i plugged it in and started to play. After 10 mins the thing went on the blink. I shout over to the wife and she says, 'its ok, i got it from ARGOS and i've got the receipt, i'll go and get another one'. I forget all about it until 5 months later. 'What happened about that chess set you got me for my birthday?' i say. 'Oh i went back to the shop and they didnt have any more in stock' she replies. 'So what did you do with the receipt?' i said. ' Oh i bought myself a new hairdryer, my other one was no good' Now i Know i've been done over lol. I got my own back though, for her birthday i got her 3 batteries with the words 'present not included' (hell have no fury like a man robbed of his toys)- So this christmas i really, really. really want another electronic chess set, oh and a santas sack entry lol.

    dear santa
i've gone back to uni for my teacher training year whichs means ive become a student again for one year. im not going to have much of a christmass becasue ive two assisgnments to do over christmass one a 3500 word one and another 4000 word essay. so as i'll be missing out on the festive cheer  what i would like for christmass (apart from winning the lottery) would be to win a seat in your tournament so ive something to look forward to in the mist of this uni work...

nice one big man hope to hear from you soon......say high to the mrs from me......

    slaverchop you hero!

Christmas is a time for giving, I believe, and not receiving. For Christmas, I would like to wish every person I know, including people I've never met on this forum, a bit of luck this Christmas. I hope everyone gets everything they want, and Christmas comes and goes without any hitches. I would like smiles permanently on people's faces, and for everyone to have a wonderful, wonderful Christmas.

If I had to be greedy, I'd love a seat in Santa's special tournament...

    Merry Christmas to everyone!

In Response to Re: What i want for Christmas....? - Win a seat in my tournament:

I've been working shifts(3-11 pm) these past 7 days so have had to miss out on trying to win a seat and starting tonight I'll be working again (11 pm -7 am) for next 7 days so Christmas will be a strange affair and I probably won't know which day it is.
What I really want for christmas is for my isp to deliver the bandwidth I pay for....the speed to be able to play poker without timing me out and then spending an eternity to relaunch my table and finally, something really witty to say on this thread but as usual ......Santa might deliver the first couple of requests but I really can't see him playing God and making miracles for the third.

What I'd really like for Xmas is for all the heartache in the world to end, For peace in this aggressive world and for every one of us to call at your nearest elderly person and check that they are warm and safe and that they have all the provisions they need to get through this nasty cold spell.  Is that too much to ask ? I hope not.

    HAPPY XMAS EVERYONE.x
