you played the hand fine.  id personally 3bet pre but i can see the reasons for just flat calling.

you justg got very unlucky.  most of the time AK is way ahead there

Thanks scotty, I feel a bit better now, hopefully a few more will agree 

Regarding 3 betting the flop, i thought of that but went for value....not my best decision!

def 3bet pre tbh. then no doubt just be a standard stack off on flop/turn if the bb comes along
