Take a break or push on through???

edited December 2010 in Poker Chat

Over the past 6 or 7 weeks I've had a really good run winning a good sum of money playing 25p/50p, 50p/£1 and £1/£2 cash tables. I even managed to rack up over 1000 league points. I tend to play around 6 or so hours a weeks, mainly at weekends and the odd evening, and enjoy playing very much. However the past two weeks have been hard going, loosing over half of the amount I recently won. I don't think I've been playing badly, but I can't seem to win a hand even with cards like pocket As. On top of this I've had several bad beats which, I know come around and go around, but its made me think whether I should take a few weeks break from pocker?

In this position, do you take a break or carry on???
