hi all this is to apologise to all and anyone that i had offened im doing
this to try and get a chat ban lifted
i will just say a little about my self ive been playing on sky poker just over
2 years now and have played some of the team games which are great to take part
in thank you sky anyway as my name says tony14757 14 7 1957 you can see i'm not
that young but not as old as TK but in terms of playing poker i'm only
a baby so it took a few bad beats and a lot of name calling done to me so i
started to retaliate and do my own i never reported anyone but i got reported myself
i know it was wrong of me but i've done it and have payed a big penalty for doing so
yes it was my second ban but i never got an e-mail from sky to inform me of it so i
had to ring up and they told me it was for life i've e-mailed c/s a few times but don't
often get a response from them so i rung up and spoke to a very helpfull chap
his advise was to leave it a bit longer and send the suits an e-mail so this is it
im hoping that you will all forgive me for my madness and that sky will give me
one last chance to prove im not a bad lad it was just at the wrong time

Life bans are not given lightly by sky, so if you are on your 2nd ban, then i'm afraid sometimes we learn our lessons a little too late, but the gesture of an apology is a start.

You have had the grace to apologise and that's something I have not seen anyone else do (I apologise if others have done so previously).
I have only been playing 10 months or so and known you to be an absolute gentleman before your ban...so please Sky ........let him chat....he's done his punishment.....good luck Tony.
In fact they would not be made at all without a computer to hide behind.
It is easy to use the retaliation excuse but it doesnt work. Would you get involved in these types of exchanges when playing in your local casino or pub ?
Unfortunately there is still a tiny minority around who occassionally cross the line between friendly banter and outright abuse. And I find the more success I have the more isolated instances of abuse I suffer.
I used to let these get to me but know the best answer is to switch the chatbox off and try to use my play to reply.
The opinion has often been expressed that having paid for your chips you should then be free to play them in any way you see fit, without being abused , and I am in agreement with this.
If at any time comments made in the chatbox stopped me from playing with a smile on my face I would give up the game.
Having no knowledge of the circumstances of your ban, it is hard to comment on it, but there obviously have to be rules.
I hate to see anyone not beimg able to take a full part in our Sky community. so I wish you luck in your quest for another chance
May I suggest an altenative, send an email/PM to the suits, explain what happened, why it happened and that you have realised what you did was wrong, and it wont happen again.
This way it will be toally private, I cant promise they will lift the ban, but it may give you better chance
Although i worry Tony that now you have made the ban public you will struggle even more to get it removed.
we all have our moments and we all know how easy it is to lash out, in tony's defence there is a lot of people on this site who name call on purpose, all he done was retaliate to one of those people,
everyone deserve's a second chance and as it's xmas i would say now is the perfect time to show your gratitude to some one who plays your site every day.( not to mention the moneyn he makes you)
give the man a second chance and redeem his chat ban. then he can show you how much of a true gent he is.
but mickjenn1 & other high profile bans have never been lifted and there have been several of threads for it, i suggest speak to C/S and charm your chat back

as you say they have already tried this shorter ban.
without knowing the full details - I would think this would include name calling - swearing - abuse. all of which isnt needed at the tables.
if sky do revoke your ban they can only expect an email / discussion box from everyone who is currently banned.
the one thing about online is that if your not happy, you can say what u want and throw things around ur house if u want - but you dont have to type in the chat box. and you dont have to read the chat box. i dont know if sky do this but other site you can actually ignore certain individuals
but i do no ive been stupid but at the end of the day a life ban is harsh
Sky need to re think this life ban as its way over the top, if someone has done something so bad they need to be banned for life then Sky should close their accounts.
If Sky deem anyone okay to continue playing then the bans should be scaled ie Ist time 3 month, 2nd time 6 month, 3rd time a year etc.
Sky can make there own rules but common sense should be used.

if i was you i tell mods close thread .
then as said go the private route .
