I've been fairly card dead since joining the table so appear to have been playing tight.  

Villain is a site reg who I believe normally plays above this level, but I have no reads myself.

still fairly early and you still have 3k left behind, personally i wouldn't want to shove as the villain will most likely call after his significant re-raise and you could easily be dominated, like you said you have no reads on the villain and if you just flat call and hit an ace on flop you still cant be sure you're ahead.

That's what my thoughts were and I folded, but I've run soooooo cold over the last couple of months I just feel the need to check a few things through.

I've also come up against players like the villain here, phil12uk, mickjenn and scotty playing £2.20 tournaments in the last month and am getting done up like a kipper so many times. Good experience gamewise, but painfull to be on the end of.
